About

Hi, I am Phillip and I’m originally from Mexico. I love cars and everything to do with buying, fixing and selling them. I also enjoy writing about cars on the side.

I started repairing vehicles when I was 12 years old with my dad at his auto body shop in Brooklyn, where we did mostly collision work.

After high school, I attended SCC of Automotive Technology in Westbury NY for three years before entering a six-month apprenticeship program at Duprey Painting for collision repair training and experience as well as continued schooling through an online program from Penn Foster Career School.

During this time period I obtained certifications in Collision Repair (CP) through SCC of Automotive Technology and Automotive Painter (PA) from Penn Foster Career School.

I then continued my education at SCC of Automotive Technology and obtained certifications in Advanced Collision Repair Techniques (ACRT), Frame and Unibody Inspection, Engine Workshop for Diesel Engines, Small Engine Technician/Mechanic, Brakes & Suspension Systems Specialist through an online program from Penn Foster Career School.

I’ve been around the block a few times with different makes of car, but there’s no substitute for that feeling you get when you find your dream ride at an affordable price.

I’m the guy that knows how to fix your car. I know all about cars, from buying them and fixing them up to selling them for a profit.
